Synopsis

This is the debut MM novel from exciting new author Viva Gold.
Isadore Woolf is a man who knows what he wants in life and most recently that happens to be Adam Cohen. Isadore comes from a steady background with loving and supportive parents and is a good son. He has rejected his father’s wealth in favour of making his own and he has built a successful career in the financial world.
Izzy surrounds himself with people who cater to his needs and never more so than at his ‘club’ where his Dominant side is free to express itself among the many willing subs happy to kneel at his feet. But Isadore has reached the stage where his tastes have matured and refined, and the tall, muscle packed, long haired, quietly spoken Adam Cohen feeds every one of his kinks. Getting this mountain of a man to submit seems impossible but Izzy was never one to back down from a challenge.
Still, it’s not all handcuffs and roses as a sinister plot of revenge against Adam could jeopardise their love and even their lives.
Can Izzy save Adam?
Can Adam be what Izzy needs?
Fierce passion and untamed arrogance drives Isadore to risk everything for a future together.

Review

Isadore "Izzy" Woolf is a strong, successful, dominate man. He comes from a loving, supportive family, but has made his own way in life.

Adam Cohen is a gentle giant. Adam also comes from loving, supportive parents and his also very successful. That is where the similarities in these two men seem to end. Opposites do tend to attract though.

Adam and Izzy have known each other for years, but reconnect at Yom Kippur services. Dominant Izzy is instantly drawn to the beautiful and naturally submissive Adam and sets out to win him. He gets Adam to agree to a date and from the start these two just fit. Everything is going just as it should be for these two until it's not. A sinister plot against Adam put their relationship, their lives and the trust they are building to the ultimate test. How each man responds to the threat and to violence brings all their differences to light. Adam is left with a lot of questions after learning some things about Izzy, questions he'll need to answer in order to move forward with Iz.

I have to warn you, there is a scene in this book that really took me aback. I found myself asking questions about Izzy and wondering if he is right for sweet Adam. Izzy is arrogant, bossy and possessive. He owns that about himself and makes no apologies for it, but he also loves and protects what is his fiercely. I'm glad I gave Izzy a chance to explain himself, I saw him in a whole new light. This book is sexy, gritty and real. I recommend it highly.
